Passed peacefully away at home in his 80th year after a long battle with cancer surrounded by family and friends. Predeceased by his parents Joseph and Patience Marie as well as brothers, Samuel, Eric, and Leslie and sisters Sally, Elizabeth, Selina.and brother-in-law Frank, sister-in-laws Olive and Judy. Leaving to mourn his wife of 55 years Hazel, son Robert (Rona), daughters Wanda (Steve) and Bonnie (Glenn) and his grandchildren Andrew (Becca), Niki (JC), Michael (Shaelyn), Mikaela and Hunter; brothers Absalom (Ruby)and Joseph (Mildred); sister in law Vivian; brothers-in-law Garfield (Eva), Abraham (Olive), Kenneth (Judy), Ernest (Olga), Tom (Daisy) and Dan (Laverne). Family service was held at St, Mark’s Anglican Church Savage Cove, Sunday, October 8th, 2017 at 8pm, Funeral Service followed on Monday October 9th, 2017 at 2pm. Funeral Services were entrusted to Kerry M. Fillatre Funeral Homes, St. Anthony and Roddickton, Lee Nippard funeral director.
