It is with great sadness that the family of the late Shelly Ann Marie Denty of Boat Harbour announces her peaceful passing at the Burin Peninsula Health Care Centre in Burin on Thursday, October 12, 2017, at the age of 33. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are her loving parents, Bradley and Laura Denty of Boat Harbour; brothers Jason Denty (Tracy Barry) of Boat Harbour and Allan Denty (Dollie Middleton) of Vancouver, BC; special nephew, Dagan Denty of Medicine Hat, AB; grandmother Sheila Synard of Parker's Cove; aunts Mary Thorne of St. John's, Regina (Thomas) Barry of Little Bay, Valerie (Ken) Bourne of Kanata, Ottawa, Bernice (Earl) Thornhill of Little Bay East, Alice (Andy) Lundrigan of Parker's Cove, Anita Lambe of St. John's and Doreen Denty of Stephenville; uncles, Norman Denty (Lydia Hillier) of Grand Bank, and Mike (Rita) Synard of St. John's; plus a large circle of cousins, family and friends. She was predeceased by her grandparents, George and Edith Dent; grandfather, Michael Synard; step-grandfather Alphonsus Synard; special cousin Michelle Barry; uncles Jerry Thorne and Garry Denty; aunt Sharon Denty; and cousin Trevor Denty. The Denty family will be accepting visitors at the Anglican Church in Brookside on Friday, October 13, 2017 beginning at 4 pm, Saturday, October 14, 2017 from 10 am - 10 pm and Sunday, October 15, 2017 10 am to 12 noon from where the Funeral service will take place on Sunday, October 15, 2017 at 2 pm. Interment will follow at the Anglican Cemetery in Boat Harbour. In Shelley's memory donations may be made to the Denty family. Funeral arrangements entrusted to the care of Wiseman's Funeral Home, Marystown.
