It is with great sadness that the family of the late ALVIN KING of Marystown announces his passing at the Burin Peninsula Health Care Centre in Burin on Monday, September 4th, 2017, at the age of 65. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are his special friend Magdalene Power of Marystown; sons, Kenny Legge (Kathy Bonnell) of Creston South, Terry (Gaye Ann) of Marystown, and Tyler King of St. John’s; daughter, Tracey (Leo) Hynes of Medicine Hat, AB; grandchildren, Matthew, Robert, Joshua & Emma; brothers, George King of St. John’s, Sam (Sandra) King of Epworth, Eric King (Phyllis Coady) of Creston North, and Eugene King (Carole Farrell) of Creston North; plus a large circle of relatives and friends. Alvin was predeceased by his parents William & Martha King; and brother, Raymond King.

The Funeral Service took place at the United Church in Creston North on Thursday, September 7th, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. Cremation followed.
