The death occurred peacefully at the Souris Hospital on Friday, October 13, 2017 of Peter “Pedie” MacDonald of Souris. Beloved husband of Reta (nee Campbell); father of Alana Legere (Andrew), and grandfather of Fergus Peter Legere. Peter will be missed by his sisters Joan Chisholm and Eleanor Champion; sister-in-law Anne Campbell, and brothers-in-law George and James Campbell. He will be fondly remembered by Sandra Hodder, Kenny O’Hanley, Rae and Alan Chisholm, and numerous other nieces and nephews. Predeceased by parents Percy and Edith (Willette); siblings Kenneth, Daniel, Percy Jr, Tony, Floyd, Reggie, Boudine, Jeannette, and Gert; sister-in-law Mary MacDonald, and brothers-in-law Jerry, John, and Angus Campbell. Missing his companionship will be beloved pets Cooper and Barney. Visiting hours at Dingwell Funeral Home on Sunday, October 15, 2017, from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m., and Monday, October 16, 2017 from 9:30 a.m. until time of the funeral.
