Passed peacefully away surrounded by his family on April 20, 2011 at the Health Sciences Centre, Clarence Stead, age 84 years. Predeceased by brothers Howard and Reginald. Left with fond and loving memories his wife of 56 years, Ruby (Pender); sons: Wayne (Bernice) and Terry (Corinne); daughters: Linda Shears (Rick), Debbie Bowering (Paul), Sandi Codner (Curtis) and Cindy (Clarence); seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; brothers: Calvin, Allister, Samuel Jr. and Donald; sister Gladys; special friends: Fred and Doris George, Curtis Codner and Corinne Farr and Paul Bowering for his many acts of kindness; as well as a large circle of relatives and other friends. Cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation. A private family service will be held on Saturday, April 23, 2011 at the Carnell Memorial Chapel, 329 Freshwater Road.
