It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Doreen Mackey (nee Taylor) on the 14th of October, 2017. Originally from Sydney, Cape Breton (1941), Doreen was a supportive military wife and mother. She enjoyed her travels across North America and Europe. She was passionate about learning and proudly achieved further education opportunities throughout her life. She loved her four amazing grandchildren Maria, Robert, Elliot and Anna. Doreen is survived by her daughters Lori Ann (Paul Mansbridge), Jenny (David Gallant), and her sister Janet Foxe (Charles). Doreen has been reunited with her husband Robert Mackey, her brother Arnold Taylor, and her mother and father, Herbert and Bertha Taylor. A celebration of her life will occur this week.
