GAUDET, SISTER DORILLA - Sister Dorilla Gaudet in religion, (Sister Marie-Albertine), passed away following a lengthy illness on Thursday, April 21, 2011 at the Notre-Dame-du-Sacré-Coeur Residence in Dieppe where she resided. She was 100 and in her 84th year of her religious life. Born July 16, 1910 in Memramcook, she was the daughter of the late Zoël and Léocadie (Gaudet) Gaudet. Besides her religious family, she is survived by many nieces and nephews. She is the last surviving member of her immediate family. She is predeceased by two brothers: Aurélien and Raymond and by a sister Yvonne.
Sister Dorilla will be resting at the Notre-Dame-d'Acadie Pavillon of the Maison-mère, 125 King Street, Moncton (Godfrey Lane entrance) on Wednesday, April 27 from 2 to 9 p.m. and on Thursday, April 28 from 9 a.m. until the funeral mass. Solemn Vespers will be held Wednesday evening at 7 p.m. The funeral mass will be celebrated on Thursday, April 28, 2011 in the Maison-mère chapel at 10 a.m. Interment will be in Memramcook.
