Alma May Ogden (Holtslander, née Houghton), born August 16, 1923, peacefully went to be with her Lord and Saviour on October 2, 2017, at the age of 94 years. Alma was predeceased by her parents, Astrid and Arthur Houghton; her first husband, William Holtslander; her daughter, Diane Holtslander; her second husband, James Ogden; her sisters, Elaine and Edna; and her brothers, Harry and Arthur. Alma is survived by her son, Allen Holtslander; her sister in law, Margaret Houghton; her stepchildren, Margaret Rogers, Marion Kenney, and Grant Ogden; her step-grandchildren, Eric Rogers, Evan Rogers, and Cara(Thomas) Long, and her nieces and nephews. A sincere thank-you is extended to the staff of Providence Place and to the personal-care assistant, Audra Zolmer, for their loving care of Alma. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Alma may be made to World Vision, 1 World Drive, Mississauga, Ontario, L5T 2Y4, to help children around the world. Alma’s Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 28, 2017at W. J. Jones Chapel, 106 Athabasca Street East, Moose Jaw. Pastor Roger Foust will officiate.
