She obtained her business college certificate in 1959 and entered the work force, working at such locations as Eaton’s and Army and Navy. She enjoyed sports such as curling, golf and had made long lasting friendships along the way. She also was an avid fan of the Saskatchewan Rough Riders and the Toronto Blue Jays. Gail is survived by daughter Tracy (Howard) Campbell and their children Kelsey and J.J.; son Duncan (Wendy) Macdiarmid of Medicine Hat and their children Ashley (Brandon) Niwa, Kyly (Michel) Houde and Hailey Macdiarmid; daughter Dyan (Brian) Magee and their son Aiden; sister Joan Morris and her children Justin, Jeff, Jennifer and their families. Gail was predeceased by her parents Don and Hazel Evans; husband Bruce; son Jaret; two brothers Barry and Darrel; brother in laws Dr. Fred Morris and Roger Macdiarmid as well as two beloved pet companions Supper and Patch. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the neighbors of nearly forty years Elie and Carol Baiton who went above and beyond lending a helping hand and keeping an eye on mom. As well as a big thank you goes out to the exceptional staff at Chateau St. Micheal’s and more recently Extendicare. There are too many of you to mention however each and every one of you touched mom’s life in such a special and caring way. A Private Family service will take place at a later date. Gail will be laid to rest with her husband Bruce at Rosedale Cemetery. In living memory of Gail a memorial planting will be made by W. J. Jones & Son Funeral Home.
