Of Carbonear, who passed away peacefully at the Carbonear General Hospital on Friday, August 7, 2009. Mrs. Harrington was 84 years old. She leaves to mourn her loving family: sons: Jack (Bobbi) Harrington, Spaniards Bay, Daniel Harrington, Toronto, Herbert (Corine) Harrington, Welland & Kevin (Toni) Harrington, Nova Scotia; daughters: Agnes (Kevin) Jones, Ontario & Madonna (Brian) Harrington-Parsons, Ottawa; 10 grandchildren: John, Andrew, Katie, Kathy (Martin), Jason, Isabelle, Dianne, Ned, Julia, & Reid; one great-granddaughter: Alexe; brothers: Ed (May) Burden, Carbonear, Leslie (Helen) Burden, Carbonear, & Jim (Rosemary) Burden, Carbonear; sisters: Dorothy (Jack) Hawe, Coley’s Point & Vera Purcell, Nova Scotia and a large number of other relatives and friends. Predeceased by: husband, John Harrington; parents: Herbert & Elsie Burden; brothers: Ephriam, Lloyd & Reg; sister, Clarice Feltham The Funeral Mass will take place at St. Patrick’s R.C. Church with interment at the Interfaith Cemetery, Carbonear, on Monday, August 10, 2009 at 10:30 a.m. The family will be receiving relatives and friends at SLADE’S FUNERAL HOME, POWELL DRIVE, CARBONEAR, between the hours of 10:30 a.m. – noon, 2 - 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. on Saturday & Sunday.
