Jahyd Olivia Fudge

Jahyd Olivia Fudge

It is with broken hearts that we the family of Jahyd Fudge announce her untimely passing. Jahyd is the daughter of Rolanda, and the late Devon Fudge, both of Louisbourg.
Jahyd leaves behind a host of family, friends, and loved ones. Little sister Eva adored Jahyd. The two spent time crafting, painting, creating and the things sisters do. Little brother Joseph loved snuggles with Jahyd, but lived to tease and make his sister giggle.
Aunt Jessica was a true friend, the two loved their long drives, windows down and music up. Nanny Frances was the apple of Jahyd’s eye, the love between couldn’t have been stronger or more pure. Nanny and Poppy (Junior) loved their beautiful girl.
Uncle B was a huge part of Jahyd’s life. Board games, special drives and laughter defined these two. Cousins Taylor, Nathan, and Anna all played a special role in Jahyd’s life, and will miss her dearly. Jahyd will be deeply missed by Uncle B (Barry) and Aunt Tanya.
Godmother Angela, a second mom to Jahyd, was a great source of love and strength, and shared in every moment of Jahyd’s life. Aunt Joleen was Jahyd’s go to, her confidant, her support, and her most trusted and truest friend. Alison helped Jahyd develop her love of the beach, and in turn Jahyd developed a close relationship with Alison’s children. Eva Sueanne was a lifelong source of guidance, support, and love for “Miss J”. Daphne, neighbor and friend loved Jahyd as her own family. Cletus also played a loving role in Jahyd’s life, giving her the greatest gifts of her siblings.
Jahyd is survived by her loving, supportive, kind boyfriend, Kyle. Her friends Brooke, Morgan, Ricky, and Mark were dear to Jahyd.
Jahyd is predeceased by her loving father, Devon; her grandfather, Tom Fudge; her grandmother, Sheila Fudge, who shared a special Christmas Eve tradition with her granddaughter each and every year, as well as Godfather, Russell Billiard.
With a smile that would light up any room, an infectious laugh, and a true love of life and laughter Jahyd was the definition of a warrior princess. As beautiful, bright, and breathtaking as a sunrise. As all knowing as the ocean. As strong as the waves crashing on the shore. There can be no wonder why this little one found herself at home at the beach.
As wild as the wind, this child was unmistakable.
In lieu of flowers please do something kind. Visitation Thursday, October 26, 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at S.W. Chant and Son Funeral Home, 564 Alexandra St., Sydney. Memorial Service Friday, October 27, 11 p.m. in the funeral home chapel.
