Michael Stewart (Mick) BEATON

A resident of Chatham, formerly of Point Aconi, Nova Scotia, Mick passed away on Sunday, October 22, 2017 at Meadow Park Nursing Home, Chatham, ON, at the age of 86. Mick was the son of the late Roderick and Annie (nee Forrest) Beaton. Beloved husband of the late Josephine Delores (Peggy) (nee Carey) Beaton (2017); loving father of Michael (Chrisie) Beaton of Chatham, Elaine (Clifford) Beaton-O’Neil of Mulmur, Glen (Jackie) Beaton of Guelph and Nancy (Robert) Simmons of Grand Valley; grandfather of nine, and great-grandfather of ten.
Cremation has taken place and an interment in Cape Breton will be held a later date. Arrangements have been entrusted to the McKinlay Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair St., Chatham, ON.
