At the Garden Home, Charlottetown, on Sunday, October 29, 2017, of Mary Angela Butler, formerly of Glengarry, P.E.I, age 95 years. Wife of the late Clarence Butler. Born at Brockton, P.E.I., on May 28, 1922, she was the daughter of the late Eugene and Angeline (nee O'Meara) McCarthy. Lovingly remembered by her children, Bert (Penny), of Glengarry, Angela Ramsay of Stratford, Carol Butler McCarthy of Charlottetown, Alan (Mary), of O'Leary, Terry (Sylvia), of Charlottetown, and Ron of Charlottetown. She is also survived by her seven grandchildren, David Ramsay, Merritt Ramsay, Darren Ramsay, Terry Butler Jr, Jamie Butler, Melissa Butler, Melonie Butler as well as her nine great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her many nieces, nephews and acquaintances. Dear sister to Archibald (Helen) McCarthy of Charlottetown and Louis McCarthy of Brockton. She was predeceased by a brothers, James, (Marion), Gerrard, (Marion), Charles (Alice), Margaret (Dudley) Coffin, Georgie (Robert) Collum and Albert Brown who was raised as a brother. Resting at the Rooney Funeral Home & Chapel Alberton. Visiting hours Tuesday, 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Wednesday morning, Nov. 1, 2017, from St. Marks Roman Catholic Church, Burton, Lot 7, for funeral mass at 10:30 a.m., Rev. Andrew MacDonald, Celebrant.
