It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our wonderful mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Surrounded by family, peacefully at St. Joseph's Continuing Care in Cornwall on November 5th, 2017; Frances Aurora O'Connor (née Boyle) in her 99th year. Dear wife of the late Gordon James O'Connor. Much loved mother of Gordon O'Connor (Carol), son-in-law Don Marleau, Pat Firlotte (Marcel) and Dennis O'Connor (Michelle). Cherished grandmother of Donny Marleau (Annette), April O'Connor, Debbie Cavalheiro (Eduardo), Patrick O'Connor (Chantal), Darrell O'Connor, D'Arcy O'Connor, Jason Firlotte (Cheryl), James Marleau (Nathalie), Ryan Firlotte (Sarah) and Daniel O'Connor. Daughter of the late James and late Frances Boyle. Predeceased by her beloved daughter Maureen Marleau and her siblings, Alexander, Hugh and Patricia. She will be sadly missed by many great-grandchildren. Derith Mecteau was considered a daughter to her and that love was reciprocated until the end of her life. Her family and extended family was the most important thing in her life and she especially looked forward to seeing "my boys" as she affectionately called grandsons, Jason and Ryan and she cherished the weekly phone calls from granddaughter Debbie. She was known as "Granny" to everyone who knew her and loved her. She will be truly missed. A very special thank you to all the staff at St. Joseph's Continuing Care (McNeil house), who treated her with affection and respect. Resting at LAHAIE & SULLIVAN CORNWALL FUNERAL HOMES, West Branch, 20 Seventh Street West (613-932-8482) on Saturday, November 11, 2017 from 9 am until the time of Funeral Service in the Memorial Chapel of the Funeral Home at 11 am.
