We, the family of the late Lorraine Sullivan, wish to offer our heartfelt thanks and appreciation to each and every one you who shared in our loss and helped celebrate Lorraine’s life. We will be forever touched and grateful for your presence at the wake & the funeral mass, your many expressions of sympathy including your visits, your offerings of food , the donations you made in her memory and the other acts of condolences and kindness we received during our time of loss. Our deepest gratitude is extended to Lorraine’s extended family and friends for your care and concern not just during her illness and death but throughout her cherished life. We are forever grateful to the staff of the Palliative Care Unit and the Community Health Nurses, with special thanks to Michelle Rossiter, for their care and compassion especially during Lorraine’s final days. We also extend our sincere thanks to Nurse Practitioner Leah Forsey, Home Care Attendant Susan Guiney and the staff of the Dr. H Bliss Murphy Cancer Centre for the care that Lorraine received. Our thanks to the staff of Fahey’s Funeral Home, all those who participated in the funeral mass, the Holy Family Parish choir, organist, Dolores Hynes and the Calvert Hall Committee who prepared the food for the reception following the mass. We offer special thanks to Father Jose Joaquin for leading us in prayer at the funeral home and to Father Ken Walsh for celebrating the funeral mass and giving such a beautiful homily that captured the very essence of who Lorraine was. Although it is impossible to thank everyone individually please know your kindness is cherished more than words can express. We all shared many stories, tears, laughs and we will always be comforted in knowing Lorraine’s memory lives on in the many lives she touched. Please accept our sincerest thanks and know you are all in our prayers.
