GODARD, Leonard J. - Nov. 30, 1921 - Nov. 7, 2017 Passed away at the Glen-Stor-Lodge in his 96th year. Leonard was born in Crysler, Ontario and lived all of his adult life in Cornwall. He had a lengthy career at C.I.L. as a Journeyman Millwright. He was predeceased by his beloved wife of 55 years, Delima McMartin. Dear father of Theresa (Terri) (Mrs. Gary MacDonald) of Richmond, Virginia. Loving grandfather of Camila Hahn (Bret) of Virginia Beach, Va. and Mark MacDonald (Dominika) of Raleigh, N.C. Cherished great-grandfather of Vanessa, Helen, Valerie and Heather. Dear son of the late Camille Godard and the late Marie Anne Provost. Predeceased by three brothers, Joseph, Raoul and Harvey and seven sisters, Alice Farley, Rose Mayer-Provost-Sabourin, Alice Robillard, Annette Godard, Rita Sabourin, Gilberte Bourgeois and Germaine Morin. He will be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. A special thanks to the entire staff of the Glen-Stor-Dun Lodge for their excellent care throughout his 12 year stay. A very special thanks to Kevin Stang for his care. Resting at the LAHAIE & SULLIVAN CORNWALL FUNERAL HOMES East Branch, 614 First Street East (613-933-2841) from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Friday November 10th and Saturday from 9 a.m. until the time of Service. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, November 11, 2017 in the Memorial Chapel of the funeral home at 11 a.m. As expressions of sympathy Memorial Donations to the C.N.I.B. or the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
