MARTEL, Richard Adelard - At the Cornwall Community Hospital on Saturday November 18, 2017. He was 75. He leaves his loving wife and best friend of almost 53 years, Jeannette Pauline (Boileau) Martel. Dear father of Jean Martel (Alanna), Diane Poirier (Kevin) and the late Brigitte (Martel) Prost. Sadly missed by 4 grandchilden, Bryce, Aaron, Meyer and Rowan. Also survived by one brother, Bernard Martel (Claudette) and one sister, Hélène Lafave (Richard Gadbois). Predeceased by his parents, Adelard and Anita (Beaulieu) Martel and one sister, Del Rose Martel. Friends and family will be received at the M. JOHN SULLIVAN FUNERAL HOME , 341 Pitt Street (across from city hall) Cornwall, ON on Tuesday from 2 - 4pm and 7 - 9pm and on Wednesday from 9:30 - 10:30am. Funeral Mass Wednesday November 22, 2017 at St. Felix de Valois Catholic Church at 11am followed by cremation. Rite of Committal, Notre Dame Cemetery at a later date.
