Lorna Parrott

With great sadness we announce the passing of Lorna Parrott, on Sunday, November 19, 2017, at the McGillivray Guest Home, Sydney.
Born in Dominion, she was the daughter of the late Fred and Sarah (Campbell) Wilson. Lorna was a longtime resident of Kitchener, ON, and Birch Grove.
She is survived by sons, Bradley and Scott; daughters, Deanne and Lisa, all of Kitchener, ON; grandchildren; great-grandchildren; sisters, Doris, Alma, Ann, and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
Besides her parents, she was also predeceased by her husband, Carl; daughter, Joanne; brothers, Adrain, Lloyd, Eldred and Russell; sisters, Theckla, Tootsie and Clarice, and sister, Alma M. in childhood.
Cremation has taken place. A funeral service officiated by Fr. Daniel Boudreau, will be celebrated 11 a.m., Friday, November 24, 2017 in V. J. McGillivray Funeral Home Chapel, 16 Reserve St., in Glace Bay.
Interment will follow in St. Anne’s Cemetery, Glace Bay.
