The death occurred suddenly, at his home in Roxbury, on Wednesday, November 22, 2017 of Emmett A MacDonald, aged 78 years. Born on March 4, 1939 in Roxbury , son of the late Adrian and Anna (Lynch) MacDonald.Loving father to Lori MacDonald (Curtis Ross), Holly MacDonald (Anthony Nehme) and Colin (Jill Oakes) . Cherished grandpa to Thomas, Alex, Caelan, Taylor, Emmett and Courtney. Dear brother to Betty (Gary) Wing, Ed (Pearle), Rose Fleming, Donna Anderson, Nancy (John) Cassie, Sheila MacDonald (Gord), Dan (Phyllis), Mary (Bill) Gray, Thelma (Stan) Smith, and Sandy (Kenny) Noonan, Emmett is remembered by the mother of his children, Annette MacDonald and lovingly remembered by the Peters family and all his nieces and nephews.Emmett is predeceased by his parents, sister Kathleen Keefe, brothers in law Gerry Fleming, Ted Anderson and Ralph Keefe.Resting at Ferguson Funeral Home and Chapel, O’Leary with visiting hours on Monday 5-8 p.m. and until 10 a.m. on Tuesday then to St. Anthony’s Roman Catholic Church, Woodstock for Funeral Mass at 10:30a.m. Interment will follow in the Parish Cemetery.In memory of Emmett, memorials to St. Anthony’s Restoration Fund would be appreciated.www.fergusonsfh.com
