Edith Cavelle (Jordan) Davey
With profound sadness, the family of Edith Cavelle (Jordan) Davey announce her passing at Kings County Memorial Hospital on November 22, 2017. Born April 10,1943 to the late Everett & Thelma (Dicks) Jordan of Murray Harbour. Predeceased by her husband Alvin Davey. Survived by her sisters Virginia (Bruce-deceased) MacLeod, Carole (Ken) Hynes, Linda (Archie) Gordon, Glenna (David) Stewart and her furry friend ,Tommy , the cat. She is also survived by nieces Ann MacLeod, Dawn Taylor, Rhonda Crouse and Glenna Mae Pollard as well as nephews Nelson Moore, Daren Moore and Aaron Penny. Survived by her Aunt Lily White of Ontario. Edie was blessed with loving, caring neighbours who made her life richer & easier. To Wayne & Mary Keenan, we are forever grateful, your support and friendship allowed her to stay in her little home as she wished. To Jamie & Stacy MacKinnon, she enjoyed the time spent with you both. Resting at Southern Kings and Queens Funeral Home, Murray River until Monday November 27, 2017 for funeral service at 3:00 p.m. with visiting hours from 1:30 until time of service.
