It is with great sadness that the family of the late PIERCE LAKE of Fortune announces his passing at the Blue Crest Interfaith Home in Grand Bank on Friday, December 1st, 2017, at the age of 73. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are sister-in-law, Carol Ann Lake of Burin; nephew, Kirk Lake (Lenore) of Burin; great-nephew, Tyler Vokey of St. John’s; great-niece, Brittany Taylor (Zack) of Burin; aunt, Grace Thornhill of St. John’s; uncle, Ben Lake (Maude) of St. John’s; plus a large number of special cousins, relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents, Roy & Stella Lake; brother, Keith Lake; nephew, Kevin Lake.

The Funeral Service took place at the United Church in Fortune on Sunday, December 3rd, at 2:00 p.m. Interment followed at the United Church Cemetery in Fortune.
