Passed peacefully away at Callingwood Downs Seniors Complex in Clarke's Beach on December 1, 2017 at the age of 92. Formerly of Glovertown, leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are his daughters: Sandra (Glenn) Walsh, Wanda (Norman) Hill and Lori (Terry) Sheppard; grandchildren: Jonathon (Laura) Walsh, Justin (Sylvie) Walsh, Andrew Walsh, Stephen Hill, Tyler Hill, Sarah Sheppard and Stephanie Sheppard; great-grandchildren: Rhea, McKenna, Cole, Emma and Owen Walsh. Predeceased by his wife Dinah (nee Hillier), brother Donald (Gloria), sister Edwina (Ches) Pearce and parents Israel and Mary Dove (nee Stevenson) of Harbour Grace. Sincere thanks to the staff of Callingwood Downs for their unending care and support. Cremation has taken place. Family invites relatives and friends to Moore's Funeral Home in Clarke's Beach on Wednesday, December 6, 2017 from 10-12 noon, 2-4 pm and 7-8:30 pm. Funeral service to take place at St. George's Anglican Church in North River on Thursday, December 7, 2017 at 11 am with inurnment to follow at St. George's Anglican Cemetery.
