McClellan, Avangeline Odell, 67, Truro, passed away Friday, December 1, 2017 at home. Born in Truro, she was a daughter of the late Bertram and Eleanor (Christie) McLeary. Avangeline attended Cornerstone Assembly in Valley. She love to knit and had a great love for cats.
She is survived by her daughters, Rebecca McClellan and Rachel McClellan both of Truro, Sarah Petrie of Belmont; son Kenny of Kemptown; grandchildren Chayse and Alexis; sisters Charlotte McLeary of Truro, Rachel Stevens of Bridgewater, Juanita McLeary of Ontario; several nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by two brothers in infancy.
Arrangements are under the direction of Mattatall~Varner Funeral Home, 55 Young Street, Truro from where visitation will take place on Tuesday from 6-8 pm. Funeral service will take place on Wednesday , Dec. 6th at 11 am in Cornerstone Assembly, 14 Cornerstone Drive, Valley. Pastor Terry Rideout will officiate with a reception to follow. Burial will follow in Belmont Cemetery, Belmont. Donations in memory may be made to the Cornerstone Assembly or to the Belmont Cemetery, Belmont.
