Wilfred Gordon MULLINS
November 3, 1933 – December 2, 2017

It is with profound sadness and loss that we must say goodbye. After many years of struggling with health problems, he is now at peace. Born in Jansen, SK to Mae and Harry Mullins, Gordon spent his life in Prince Albert. He was employed at Canada Packers and Sicks/Molsen Brewery for 24 plus years, choosing to retire when Molsen’s closed the Prince Albert Brewery, rather than transfer to Regina. Gordon spent many hours painting the old masters from kits which are beautiful. In later years he enjoyed collecting special coins, mounting them in folders. Gordon and Donna celebrated their 60th Wedding Anniversary in April. Gordon is survived by his loving wife Donna (Cockburn); his brother Larry (Sandra) of Calgary, AB; niece Laura (Harold) Brennan Koenig of Langdon, AB; nephew Sean Mullins, Jordan and MacKenzie of Langdon, AB; uncle Ken Mullins of Penticton, BC; sisters-in-law Carol-Anne Cockburn of Regina, SK and Anita Cockburn of Toronto, ON; niece Heather (Bruce) of Port Credit, ON; nephew Tavis (Laura) Cochburn, Beau, Grey of Toronto, ON. He was predeceased by his parents Harry and Mae Mullins; brother Donald; brother-in-law Bruce Cockburn; sister-in-law Elizabeth Mullins; mother and father-in-law Rena and David Cockburn; several aunts, uncles and cousins and his special dogs Muffie and Tara whom he shared many walks. Memorial Service will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Thursday, December 7, 2017 at Gray’s Funeral Chapel, 575 28th Street West, Prince Albert, SK with Reverend Nora Vedress officiating. Interment will be held at Prince Albert Memorial Gardens. In lieu of other tributes, memorial donations may be made to a charity of donor’s choice. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.grays.ca. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Gray's Funeral Chapel, (306-922-4729).
