Marie Hélène, 77, of Avante Blvd., Miramichi, passed away peacefully with her loving family by her side after a brief illness, on Saturday, December 2, 2017 at the Saint John Regional Hospital.
Born in Pointe Sapin, NB., the daughter of the late Celeste & Clementine (Daigle) Mazerolle. Marie married the love of her life Arthur "Jim" Eyles on August 25, 1956. They were a military family, loved travelling throughout the world including Germany, Chatham and Greenwood, making many friends along the way.
Marie is survived by her three loving daughter's, Deborah (Larry) Young of South Farmington NS, Charmaine Eyles of Halifax, NS, and Joanne (Terry) Neary of Fort McMurray, Alberta; granddaughters, Caitlin (Fahid) Green, Courtney (Matthew) Green both of Fort McMurray; grandsons, Justin (Kary) Young of Cole Harbour, NS, Shawn (Carissa) Young of New Minas, NS, and Curtis Green of Glace Bay, NS; great-grandchildren, her pride & joy, Kaylin, Caleb, Aiden, Austin, Jaxon and little Lyla, who will miss their Gigi. Also survived by her sisters, Lorraine Mazerolle, Louisa (Jean-Paul) Beaulieau, Claudette (Jean) Dumoulin all of Montreal; nieces and nephews. A special thanks to her loving cousin, Symone and friend, Norma.
Besides her parents, Marie was predeceased by her husband, Arthur "Jim" Eyles; son, Darin Eyles; sisters, Jeannette, Yolanda; brothers, Denis, Roger, Jean-Louis, and Normand.
Visitation for Marie will he held 9 -11 a.m. on Friday, December 8, 2017 at Curry's Funeral Home, 775 Main St., Glace Bay.
Interment will follow in St. Anthony's Cemetery, Dominion Street, Glace Bay, graveside prayers with Fr. Norman MacPhee.
Marie had a funeral mass and visitation at Maher's Funeral Home, Miramichi, NB.
