Passed away at St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital on Sunday, December 17, 2017. Harold Rees age 93 years. Predeceased by his sons: Neale and Robin and 4 infant sons. Leaving to mourn with cherished memories his loving and devoted wife of 68 years J. Margaret Rees (nee Seward); his daughters: Brenda (Dave) Power and Andrea (Lyle) Perrin; 12 grandchildren: 15 great-grandchildren; sisters: Enid Brown and Doris Budgell; sister-in-law: Denise Rees; nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends. The Rees family would like to extend a heart felt thank you to Rev. David Burrows and Rev. Lynn Courage for their continuous support and guidance. At Harold’s request cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held at Barrett’s Funeral Home 73 Commonwealth Ave. Mt. Pearl on Wednesday, December 20, 2017 from 10:00 am-12:00p.m., 2:00-4:00 and 7:00 -9:00 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 21, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. from Parish of The Ascension, Smallwood Drive.
