Passed peacefully away at the Burin Health Care Centre on May 1, 2011, Pearl Francis Nurse, of Grand Bank, aged 84 years. Predeceased by mother, Clara Herritt, father, Phillip Herritt, both of Harbour Breton, husband, Rudell, daughter Catherine, 2 brothers and 3 sisters. Leaving to mourn sister Bertha Strickland of St. John’s, NL, two special nieces Joyce (Wendell) and family of Bickerton, NS and Mary (Lorne) and family of Lumsden, NL, as well as a number of other nieces and nephews, special cousin Meta Bugular of Harbour Breton and a number of in laws; three special caregivers, Patsy Cox, Marilyn Mavin and Shirley Monk and two special people Nadine and Kaitlyn and a large number of special friends. Resting at Warren’s Funeral Home on Monday, May 2, Tuesday, May 3 and Wednesday May 4, 2 p.m. – 4p.m. and 7 p.m. – 9 p.m. daily. Funeral service will be held on Thursday May 5 at 2:00 p.m. from Grand Bank United Church with internment at the United Church Cemetary, Grand Bank.
