Passed away on Tuesday, December 19, 2017 at the Dr. Walter Templeman Hospital, Bell Island, in brave defiance to cancer, Ned Gorman, age 89. Predeceased by his parents Elizabeth and Gregory Gorman, brothers Leo {Susie}; Dominic; sister; Mary. He is survived by siblings: Madeline (Gus Whalen - deceased), St. John’s; Raymond (Margaret), Bell Island; Bill (Shirley} Cambridge, Ontario; many nieces, nephews, extended family and a circle of friends – too numerous to mention but you all know who you are and how precious each and every one of you were to Ned. Resting at Pendergast’s Funeral Home, Bell Island on Thursday December 21, 2017 from 12 to 9 pm. Mass of Christian Burial Friday December 22, 2017, 11 a.m. at St. Michael’s Roman Catholic Church, Bell Island. Interment at St. Michael’s Roman Catholic Cemetery, Bell Island. Flowers gratefully accepted. Reception to follow at St. Michael’s Parish Hall.
