The death occurred at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, on Thursday, December 21, 2017, of Donald Addison Baker, of Summerside, aged 93 years. Born in Selma, Hants County, NS, he was the son of the late Rev. Dr. Arthur “A.F.” and Mary (Lucas) Baker and step-mother Annie (Zwicker) Baker. Survived by his wife Winnifred “Winnie” (Thomas) Baker; sons Larry (Valerie), Wayne and daughter Shelley (Baker) Baglole; 13 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by a sister Ruth (Gordon) MacAulay and by a brother Blair (Doris) Baker. Resting at the Moase Funeral Home, Summerside, where funeral service will be held on Thursday at 10:30 a.m. Interment at a later date in Peoples Cemetery, Summerside. Visiting hours Wednesday from 7-9 p.m. Family flowers only. Memorial donations to the Prince County Hospital Foundation or the Canadian Diabetes Association (P.E.I.) would be appreciated.
