The death occurred, peacefully, at the Riverview Manor on December 28, 2017 of Shirley MacSwain formerly of Peters Road. Age 88. Wife of the late Curtis MacSwain. Loving mother of Garry (Phyllis), Jeannie (Ray) Garnhum, and Wayne (Helen). Remembered by grandchildren A.J. (Krista), Darcy, Matthew (Cheryl), Brad (Nancy) and great-grandchildren Anna-Beth, Ethan, and Alexandria-Rae. Survived by sister Helen MacSwain, New Brunswick. Remembered by numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by parents Harry and Jessie (Reynolds) MacSwain, granddaughter Megan and ten siblings. Resting at Southern Kings & Queens Funeral Home, Murray River. No visitation by personal request. Private, family, funeral service will be held from the funeral home chapel on Saturday, December 30, 2017 at 2 p.m. Interment later in Peters Road Cemetery.
