Marguerite Belle Marchant, 93, of Orchard Court, Kentville, NS; formerly of Woodville, Kings Co., NS passed away on December 25, 2017 in Shannex, Orchard Court Nursing Home. Born in Lakeville, she was the daughter of the late Willis and Mary (Whitney) Illsley. She is survived by her daughters Helen Foote of Orleans, ON; Judith Foote of Toronto, ON; Margaret (David) Barker of Miramichi, NB; grandchildren Carrie (Garth) Watters; Krista Barker and Adam Barker; great-grandchildren Elliot and Shannon Watters; sisters Florence Porter; Joyce (Richard) d’Entremont and Wilma (Lloyd) Ward. Marguerite was predeceased by her husband John Marchant, first husband Charlie Foote and daughter Susan Foote. There will be no visitation or Funeral Service by request. There will be an interment in Lakeville Cemetery in the Spring. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
