On behalf of the entire Rowe family, I would like to thank all who attended the Funeral for my wife, Phyllis (Rowe) Clarke.
To Father Paul McGillvary, the Homily was very touching and you captured the essence of Phyllis. To Trevor Rowe, Amanda Rowe and Annette Gillis, thank you for your excellent readings. To Mae Rowe, an outstanding eulogy. Thanks to all staff at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital, who did everything they could to help Phyllis during her illness. Thank you to Father Bill Burke, for administering the Sacrament of the Sick, and to Father Paul McGillvray for his many visits and blessings. A special thank you to Nurse Tristan, for the great compassion, shown to Phyllis and myself, during that last long night.
To all who visited during her hospital stay, and those who prayed for her from near and afar, I will be eternally grateful. Thanks to Sarah Rowe, who was at Phyllis’s bedside, most afternoons. To all those who made contributions to the SPCA, and other charities, your generosity is appreciated. To those who left sympathy & mass cards, the many emails, the website messages, and to Bishop Brian Dunn and the Diocesan staff, Thank You.
