Ethel Slade

Ethel passed peacefully, with her family by her side, on Wednesday, January 10, 2018, at the age of 93.
Born in 1924 she was the beloved wife of the late James Forsey Slade.
Loving mother of David (Jean), Philip (Peggy), Joanne (Rob Johnson), and Nancy.
Cherished grandmother of Susan (Tony), David (April), Jessie (Paul), Rachel (Justin), Michael, Rebecca, and Emma. Special great-grandmother of Gabrielle, Sophia, and Will.
She is the last surviving member of her immediate family, and was predeceased by husband, Jim and granddaughter, Tracy.
Neva’s memory will always be cherished by her nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
The family would like to thank the kind and caring staff at Starwood Nursing Home.
A memorial service for Neva will take place at a later date, in Cape Breton.
