Passed away suddenly in Ottawa, Ont., on January 8, 2018, Darrell Joseph Cantwell, 48, of Torbay, NL. Predeceased by his grandparents Leo and Marie (Gosse) Cantwell and Bill and Madeline (Halley) Squires and his Godfather Eugene Cantwell. Left with an eternal void his loving parents James and Theresa (Squires) Cantwell, his brother Dean (Mandy Murdock) and Mandy’s daughter Kelsey, sister Lana (Steve Button), Lana’s children Angelo and Isabella Steeples, sister Lesley (Scott Seccariccia) and children Lucy and Amelia, along with many aunts, uncles and cousins whom he dearly loved, his many friends (too many to mention), along with relatives and co-workers in Ottawa especially Neil (da peel) Scott, his best bud Dave and Mandy McKnight, Marylynn Noseworthy and Gina Oliver, who filled his heart and belly on special holidays. Left heartbroken are Darrell’s work family at Inflector Environmental Services especially Elwood Stubbert, Wade Pigeon, Calvin Walsh and Calvin Organ. Darrell was the life of the party. He loved family, friends, children, animals, music, adventure and lived life to the fullest. Resting at Caul's Funeral Home in Torbay on Saturday, January 13th from 2-5 and 7-9 pm, Sunday, January 14th from 10 am - 4 pm and 6-9 pm. Funeral Mass to be held at Holy Trinity Church, Torbay, on Monday, January 15th at 10 am. Cremation to follow and burial to take place at a later date at Holy Trinity Cemetery, Bauline Line, Torbay.
