PICTOU – Lulu Mae (Munn) Dunbar, 94, Pictou, formerly of Abercrombie and Westville, passed away peacefully, Friday, January 19, 2018, in the Maritime Oddfellow’s Home, Pictou with her loving son by her side.
Born in Murray River, P.E.I., she was a daughter of the late Captain John Archibald and Christine (MacLeod) Munn. Lulu was an accountant for Farmer’s Dairy and Shopper’s Drug Mart. Lulu was a devoted and loving wife, mother, and sister who enjoyed spending time with her family.
Surviving are her son, Hugh (Valerie) Dunbar, Westville; sisters, Vonda (Gordon) Dowling, Murray River, P.E.I.; Cheryl (John) Cozart, Calais, Maine.
Lulu was predeceased by her husband, William Earl ‘Billy’; brother, Clarence Munn; sisters, Anna Stewart; Ena Munn; and Alda Munn.
A private funeral service was held with Rev. Dr. Glen Matheson officiating. Interment will be in Abercrombie Cemetery at a later date.
