Newcombe, Karen Lee (Letcher) – 72, Truro, passed peacefully with family by her side on January 19, 2018 at the Colchester East Hants Health Centre, Truro. Daughter of the late Doris (Jones) and Alonzo Letcher. Born in Truro, she grew up in Wentworth and lived with her husband and children in the Truro area. She loved antiques and music. She delivered papers for many years. Survived by her husband, Clayton; sons, David (Carole) and Fred (Janice), daughter-in-law, Kim; grandchildren – Jordan (Andrew), Cody (Katelyn), Jacob (Chelsea), Brett (Kaylah) and Daniel; sisters – Dianne (Robert) Ring, Peggy (Winston) Patriquin and Shannon Letcher (Tim Rushton), sisters-in-law – Vi Blair-Letcher and Helen (Clarence) Duggan; many special cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. Predeceased by her parents, son, Shawn, brother, Ed; brothers-in-law, Terry Palmer and Geordie Drummond. Special thanks to EHS and CEHHC emergency and third floor staff.
