Born on August 29th 1942 in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island. He passed peacefully at Lakeridge Health Oshawa on January 21st 2018 at the age of 75. Beloved husband of the late Betty (née Morrison). Loving father of Tim (Tammy) and Matthew (Beverley). Proud Grandy of Hayley, Jack and Blake. James was the eldest of 11 siblings and was predeceased by his parents Alyre and Kathleen Peters. Visitation will be held at W.C. Town Funeral Chapel, 110 Dundas Street East, Whitby on Friday, January 26th 2018 from 2 – 4pm & 7 – 9 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. John the Evangelist, 903 Giffard Street, Whitby on Saturday, January 27th 2018 at 11 a.m. Cremation to follow.
