Betty is survived by her sons Craig and Bradley, her daughter Carolyn, brothers Glenn(Betty), Caribou Island; Monte(Heather), Hopewell; sister -in-law Doris, New Glasgow and many nieces and nephews.
Following graduation from Business College, Betty was employed with the Department of Highways and later became a Motor Vehicle Examiner with the Department of Motor Vehicles. Her three children were the centre of her universe and she committed her life to their well being. She attended every basketball game, 4-H show, Highland Dance competition, pageants and school performances, she was in the front row cheering her children on. “Be the best that you can be” was her motto. Her favourite pastimes were cross stitching and doing cryptoquotes, listening to country music and the sound of bagpipes. She was the most wonderful mother and will be dearly missed.
