Passed peacefully away in the presence of his loving family, Michael Dakins in
his 85th year of Mitchell’s Brook, St. Mary’s Bay. Predeceased by his
first wife Catherine and infant son. Left with fond and loving memories
are his wife Elizabeth (Betty), children: Adrian, Jerome (Lesley),
Eugene (Anita), Michael (Michelle), Christina, Yvonne (Bill) and step-son Paul (Colleen), 18 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild, brothers: Fred (Stella) and Willy, sisters: Mary, Marguerite and Imelda (Adrian), numerous nieces, nephews and a circle of extended family and friends. At his request cremation has already taken place. Funeral will take place on Monday, January 29, 2018 with 10:00 am Mass of Christian Burial from Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church.
