Peacefully at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Wednesday, January 24, 2018 of Elaine Wood of Charlottetown, age 76 years. Beloved mother of Gordon Wood (Shelly LaBrech) and Colleen Wood. Elaine will be lovingly remembered by her sisters - Bernice Kelly (Howard deceased), Dianne MacKay (Donald), Colleen Rogerson (Howard) and Claire Hendricken; brothers - Lornie Hendricken, J. P. Hendricken (Marie deceased), and Leo Hendricken (Helen). She was predeceased by her parents - Daniel and Katie (Phelan) Hendricken and brothers - Phelan, Frank and Irwin. Resting at Hillsboro Funeral Home, 2 Hollis Ave., Stratford, for visitation on Sunday, January 28, 2018, from 3-6 p.m. Funeral service will be held at Stratford Chapel, Hillsboro Funeral Home on Monday, January 29, 2018 at 2 p.m. Interment will be held at St. Andrews Cemetery, Mount Stewart. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated. Completion of funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Hillsboro Funeral Home.
