Passed peacefully away at the Dr. G. B. Cross Memorial Hospital, Clarenville on Saturday, January 27, 2018, Doris Short, in her 90th year of Deep Bight. Predeceased by her husband Arthur; daughter Edie Hatfield; sons Robert, Joshua; grandson Travis Trowbridge. Left with fond and loving memories are her daughters Millie (Lloyd), Emily; sons Ramsey (Darlene), Peter (Violet); 12 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; sisters Millie Stanley, Edie Paul; brother George (Olivine) and a large circle of family and friends. Resting at the United Church, Deep Bight Monday, January 29, 2018 10 am - 9 pm. Funeral service will be on Tuesday, January 30 at 2 pm from the United Church, Deep Bight with interment to follow. In her memory flowers are gratefully accepted of donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
