The death occurred peacefully at the Souris Hospital on Sunday, January 28, 2018 of Mary Elizabeth Walsh (Carter) in her 76th year. Predeceased by her husband Peter Walsh. Survived by sister Isabel Lewis (Don Larkin), nephew Jamie Lewis (Tammy), grandniece Melanie, and numerous nieces and nephews. Also to mourn her loss are her extended family at the Bayview Lodge, and special guardian Sister Mary Deighan. Resting at Dingwell Funeral Home with visiting hours at the Dr. Roddie Community Centre in St. Peters Bay on Wednesday, January 31, 2018 from 5-8pm, and Thursday, February 1, 2018 from 11 a.m. until funeral time. Funeral Mass to be celebrated on Thursday, February 1, 2018 at St. Peter's Roman Catholic Church at 1 p.m. Interment to follow in the church cemetery.
