Passed peacefully away at Dr. G. B. Cross Hospital, Clarenville, in the presence of her loving husband and family on Friday, February 2, 2018, Alice Phillips of Bunyan’s Cove, aged 73 years. Leaving to mourn her husband, Gordon; seven children: Raymond Phillips (Cindy); Randy Phillips (Kathy); Pauline Garrett (Derek); Pam Phillips (Chris); Donna King (Rupert); Darlene Young (Steve); and Wanda Keats (Bradley); 11 grandchildren: Shane Phillips (Marianne); Chantille Phillips (Kim); Jason Phillips (Zuleika); Kendal Tucker (Joey); Brad King (Caitlyn); Nathan King (Jill); Matthew King (Taylor); Andy Young (Allie); Ian Garrett,; Patrick Dawson and Jenna Keats; 6 great grandchildren: Chase, Reigen, Jared, Mia, Spencer, and Madison; loving sister, Doris Phillips (Gilbert) and brother, Bill Holloway (Trina); and all of the Holloway and Phillips’ family members and friends. Rested at St. Paul’s United Church, Bunyan’s Cove. Funeral service took place on Sunday, February 4, 2018 from St. Paul’s United Church, Bunyan’s Cove with interment at the United Cemetery, Bunyan’s Cove. In her memory donations may be made to St. Paul’s United Church, Bunyan’s Cove.
