Passed away on February 8th, 2018 at the Health Science Centre in St. John’s at the age of 62 years. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife and best friend Elsie; his ray of sunshine Mackenzie Short; brothers Wayne (Vina), and Dean (Clara); sister Joan (Glen); best friends Dorothy and Gerald Short; his nieces and nephews (his love for children was evident in his pride for his nieces and nephews), as well as other extended family and friends. He will be loved and missed by many. Lloyd was predeceased by his parents Glossen and Dulcie Pittman, and his parents-in-law, Jacob and Gertrude Campbell. Visitation took place at St. Matthew’s Anglican Church in Cook’s Harbour from where the funeral service was held on Tuesday, February 13th, at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Katie officiating. Interment followed. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Kerry M. Fillatre’s Funeral Home, St. Anthony and Roddickton, Lee Nippard, funeral director.
