Dorothy Irene Brocklehurst
The family of the late Irene Dorothy Brocklehurst who died on February 8, 2018 wishes to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who reached out to us during our mother’s illness and her death. The many cards, telephone calls, emails, home visits, food, flowers and prayers were greatly appreciated. We wish to note the exemplary care extended to our mother for the past 30 years by Dr. Stephen MacDougall. Thank you to Dr. Ann Francis D’Intino for her compassionate care during our mother’s last days at home and to Ann Syms for her compassionate nursing care, support and friendship during this difficult time. To Fr. Bill Burke for his compassionate and spiritual care of mom and presiding at the Funeral Liturgy and the co-presiders Fr. Doug Murphy, Fr. Bedford Doucette, Fr. Sandy MacNeil, Fr. Daniel Boudreau Spiritual Director for the Provincial and Diocesan CWL Councils. Thank you to, St. Marguerite Bourgeoys Choir, Lectors Sr. Lorraine Abbass, CND and Conrad Morrison, Extra Ordinary Ministers of the Eucharist Ann Syms, Elmer Syms, and Sarah Genter, Altar Servers Ralph Neville and John-Colin Campbell, Pall Bearers David Genter, Tom Wilson, Sean MacDonald, Alvin MacDonald, Sheldon Wadman and Tom Penny. Thank you to the members of the Equestrian Order of the Knights Holy Sepulchre of Jerusalem for their presence. Thank you to David Genter and Fr. Doug Murphy for their Eulogies. Thank you to Elmer Syms for his musical repertoire of songs and hymns at home, at the funeral home visitation and at the church. Thank you to the CWL for the prayer service, honour guard and reception. Thank you to T.W.
