James Gerard “Jerry” Wadden, age 64, of Westville, passed away on Thursday, March 1, 2018 at his home.

Born in New Glasgow, he was a son of the late Jim and Betty (Carroll) Wadden.

Jerry attended Westville schools and was baptized and confirmed at Holy Name Church. He was known to his friends as “Puddin” , in his younger years he worked for the Dept. of Mines and later worked as a painter . He enjoyed skating, playing hockey and liked his fast cars (Mustang and Swinger). His greatest joy was spending time with his family especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Jerry is survived by his sons Jason (Heather), MacLellan’s Brook; Robbie (Melissa), Halifax; and Colin (Nikki), Florida; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He is also survived by sisters Linda Crosby, Westville, Mary, Stellarton, Karen Bears (Ron), Halifax, Cathy MacIntosh (Gordon), Westville; brother Joe, Westville; and brother-in-law Gary Crosby (Theresa), Mark Road.

He was predeceased by sister Lorraine Crosby and brother Terry.

His family will receive visitors on Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 at Eagles Funeral Home, Westville. There will be no funeral service by request. Donations in his memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or a charity of one’s choice. www.eaglesfuneralhome.ca
