Christopher C. R. Wiggins

Born: July 4th, 1979

Passed on: March 1st, 2018

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Christopher Carter Ronald Wiggins, age 38. Predeceased by grandparents Olga and Eldred White, Nellie and Hazen Wiggins and his loving caregiver Rose Somers. Left with many loving memories are his devoted parents Linda (White) and Ron Wiggins (RCMP Veteran), Aunt Helen and Uncle Michael Gaynes, Aunt Barbara and Uncle Calvin Tilley, Uncle Jim and Aunt Joy White. Also his cousins and a circle of wonderful friends. Christopher courageously battled many physical difficulties throughout his life, but with his dedicated and selfless parents by his side he had many positive experiences. Christopher was a huge baseball fan and made many trips to Montreal to see the Expos. After the Expos discontinued playing, he and his parents continued their annual trips to Montreal, a very special place for the three of them. Curling was also a favorite sport for Christopher; and spent many hours watching it on television. Special thanks to caregiver Regan Keats, many other caregivers over the years, Dr. David Price (Janeway), family physician Dr. Randy Hart, Dr. George Fox, Dr. David Pace (Health Sciences), and Dr. Ken Burrage (St. Clare’s). Thank you also to the RCMP Veterans Association especially George Powell. The family would also like to thank Father Mark Nichols, Rev. Robert Cooke and the choir of St. Mark’s Anglican Church. Cremation has taken place. Relatives and friends may visit the family at Carnell’s Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road on Sunday, March 4, 2018 from 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 pm. Funeral Service will be held on Monday, March 5, 2018 at 2 pm from St. Mark’s Anglican Church, Logy Bay Road. No flowers by request.
