Wilfred Carter

Passed peacefully away on Tuesday, March 6, 2018 at Dr. Y. Jeon Kittiwake Health Centre, Brookfield, Wilfred Carter age 91 years of Greenspond.
Predeceased by his parents Robert and Minnie Carter; sister Alice; and eldest son Roger. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are his wife Susanna; sons Tony (Christine) of Greenspond, Dennis (Cindy) of Mt. Pearl and Jeff (Lorna) of Badger's Quay; daughters Dale (Art Jerrett) of Greenspond, Jackie (Lloyd George) of Whiteway, Joy (Peter Barfoot) of St. John's and Sheila of Greenspond; 19 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; and a large circle of other relatives and friends. Funeral service took place at St. Stephens’s Anglican Church, Greenspond on Thursday, March 8, 2018 at 2 p.m. with Rev Cindy Graham officiating. Interment followed at The Interfaith Cemetery, Shambler’s Cove. Arrangements entrusted to the care of Kittiwake Funeral Home, Pound Cove.
