We, the family of the late Diane McInnis, wish to express our sincere thanks for the kindness and support shown to us during our recent bereavement. Family and friends came from far and near to comfort us with personal greetings and visits to our home and the funeral home, phone calls, e-mails, sympathy and mass cards, food, flowers, memorial donations and enrollments. Thank you to all who attended and participated in the funeral mass, with special thanks to Fr. Jake Andrea as presider, to Monica Shebib for her help in planning the funeral and the liturgy, the altar servers, Eucharistic ministers; Readers: Georgina Hunter, Ann MacDonald and Debbie MacDonald, Gift presenters: grandchildren Keira and Ewan McInnis, Pallbearers: Matt Batherson, Brian Shebib, John Higgins, Greg MacDonald, Reid McInnis, Norm Connors, Kevin Chisholm. Thank you to the funeral choir and violinist Jennifer Roland for the beautiful music. A special thank you to the Funeral Reception Committee for providing the beautiful lunch and reception following the Funeral Mass.
The family also wishes to thank Dr. Elizabeth MacCormick, palliative care, nurses and staff of 4West at the Northside General Hospital. Special thanks to the staff at W.J.Dooley Funeral Home for their professionalism and support, as well as anyone who provided assistance in any way.
