It is with tremendous sorrow that we wish to announce the passing of our loving wife and mother, Rose (Power) Hynes, age 73, following her lengthy and heroic battle with cancer. Her last hours were spent at home surrounded by her loving family. Predeceased by her parents Robert and Mary Power, of Spanish Room and her brother Arch; her parents-in-law John and Kathleen Hynes, of Kelligrews and brother-in-law Tom. To be forever missed by devoted husband of 50 years, Jerry; daughters Lorie Noseworthy (Glenn) and Lynn (Paul). Also leaving to mourn her siblings Hilda Paschakis (Alex), Wally (Judy), and Brendan (Trish); her sisters-in-law Marg Haines (Herb), Mary Wall (Leo), Betty White (Ches), Marilyn Hynes (Claude); as well as her many nieces and nephews. Rose also leaves a bountiful number of lifelong friends. ‘J-Rose’ (to her card club friends) was loved by all who knew her, especially for her wit, her honesty and her cooking. The family wishes to express their most sincere gratitude to Dr. K. Laing and her staff at the H. Bliss Murphy Centre; Sandra White R.N. and the staff at the Community Health Office; her sister Hilda; her friend Mary Coffin; and her doting son-in law Glenn Noseworthy and the many others who supported them through this journey.
